The idea
You have a product or business line in mind, and the people around you like it. Their enthusiasm tells you little about whether customers will pay, or what it takes to deliver.
Offering Engagement
This is for a new product or business line. It starts with the decision itself, so you know what you are betting on before anything is designed or built.
You buy one phase at a time. Each phase has its own scope and its own decision.
No contract covers the whole engagement. Stop after any phase and you keep what it produced.
If you're launching something new
You have a product or business line in mind, and the people around you like it. Their enthusiasm tells you little about whether customers will pay, or what it takes to deliver.
The fastest path looks like building something and seeing what happens. A prototype gets made and money gets spent. By the time the answer arrives, it is expensive to act on.
You asked around: a strategy consultant, an agency, a technical person who might join. Each saw the part of it they sell, and none of them owned the whole decision.
By now you can describe what you need: one capable expert who tests the decision, defines the product, and builds it, with nothing lost between those steps.
This phase is optional and entirely your choice. If you want it, it takes one of these forms:
No contract covers the whole engagement. Each phase is scoped and agreed on its own, so you are never committed to the next one by the one before it.
What a phase produces is written to be used without me. You can hand it to another provider or to your own team at any seam, and they can pick up from there.
The first phase is paid. It concludes before anything is designed or built.
Every later phase is quoted on its own, once the one before it has closed.
No commitment. 20 minutes. Find out what you need — and what you don't.
